add skip ci functionality (#28075)
Adds the possibility to skip workflow execution if the commit message contains a string like [skip ci] or similar. The default strings are the same as on GitHub, users can also set custom ones in app.ini Reference: https://docs.github.com/en/actions/managing-workflow-runs/skipping-workflow-runs Close #28020 |

Make Actions tasks/jobs timeouts configurable by the user (#27400)
With this PR we added the possibility to configure the Actions timeouts values for killing tasks/jobs. Particularly this enhancement is closely related to the `act_runner` configuration reported below: ``` # The timeout for a job to be finished. # Please note that the Gitea instance also has a timeout (3h by default) for the job. # So the job could be stopped by the Gitea instance if it's timeout is shorter than this. timeout: 3h ``` --- Setting the corresponding key in the INI configuration file, it is possible to let jobs run for more than 3 hours. Artifacts retention and auto clean up (#26131)
Currently, Artifact does not have an expiration and automatic cleanup mechanism, and this feature needs to be added. It contains the following key points: - [x] add global artifact retention days option in config file. Default value is 90 days. - [x] add cron task to clean up expired artifacts. It should run once a day. - [x] support custom retention period from `retention-days: 5` in `upload-artifact@v3`. - [x] artifacts link in actions view should be non-clickable text when expired. |

Restrict `[actions].DEFAULT_ACTIONS_URL` to only `github` or `self` (#25581)
Resolve #24789 ## ⚠️ BREAKING ⚠️ Before this, `DEFAULT_ACTIONS_URL` cound be set to any custom URLs like `https://gitea.com` or `http://your-git-server,https://gitea.com`, and the default value was `https://gitea.com`. But now, `DEFAULT_ACTIONS_URL` supports only `github`(`https://github.com`) or `self`(the root url of current Gitea instance), and the default value is `github`. If it has configured with a URL, an error log will be displayed and it will fallback to `github`. Actually, what we really want to do is always make it `https://github.com`, however, this may not be acceptable for some instances of internal use, so there's extra support for `self`, but no more, even `https://gitea.com`. Please note that `uses: https://xxx/yyy/zzz` always works and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. Although it's breaking, I belive it should be backported to `v1.20` due to some security issues. Follow-up on the runner side: - https://gitea.com/gitea/act_runner/pulls/262 - https://gitea.com/gitea/act/pulls/70 |

Fix all possible setting error related storages and added some tests (#23911)
Follow up #22405 Fix #20703 This PR rewrites storage configuration read sequences with some breaks and tests. It becomes more strict than before and also fixed some inherit problems. - Move storage's MinioConfig struct into setting, so after the configuration loading, the values will be stored into the struct but not still on some section. - All storages configurations should be stored on one section, configuration items cannot be overrided by multiple sections. The prioioty of configuration is `[attachment]` > `[storage.attachments]` | `[storage.customized]` > `[storage]` > `default` - For extra override configuration items, currently are `SERVE_DIRECT`, `MINIO_BASE_PATH`, `MINIO_BUCKET`, which could be configured in another section. The prioioty of the override configuration is `[attachment]` > `[storage.attachments]` > `default`. - Add more tests for storages configurations. - Update the storage documentations. --------- Co-authored-by: wxiaoguang <wxiaoguang@gmail.com> |

Implement actions artifacts (#22738)
Implement action artifacts server api. This change is used for supporting https://github.com/actions/upload-artifact and https://github.com/actions/download-artifact in gitea actions. It can run sample workflow from doc https://docs.github.com/en/actions/using-workflows/storing-workflow-data-as-artifacts. The api design is inspired by https://github.com/nektos/act/blob/master/pkg/artifacts/server.go and includes some changes from gitea internal structs and methods. Actions artifacts contains two parts: - Gitea server api and storage (this pr implement basic design without some complex cases supports) - Runner communicate with gitea server api (in comming) Old pr https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/pull/22345 is outdated after actions merged. I create new pr from main branch. ![897f7694-3e0f-4f7c-bb4b-9936624ead45](https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/2142787/219382371-eb3cf810-e4e0-456b-a8ff-aecc2b1a1032.jpeg) Add artifacts list in actions workflow page. |

Refactor the setting to make unit test easier (#22405)
Some bugs caused by less unit tests in fundamental packages. This PR refactor `setting` package so that create a unit test will be easier than before. - All `LoadFromXXX` files has been splited as two functions, one is `InitProviderFromXXX` and `LoadCommonSettings`. The first functions will only include the code to create or new a ini file. The second function will load common settings. - It also renames all functions in setting from `newXXXService` to `loadXXXSetting` or `loadXXXFrom` to make the function name less confusing. - Move `XORMLog` to `SQLLog` because it's a better name for that. Maybe we should finally move these `loadXXXSetting` into the `XXXInit` function? Any idea? --------- Co-authored-by: 6543 <6543@obermui.de> Co-authored-by: delvh <dev.lh@web.de> |

Implement actions (#21937)
Close #13539. Co-authored by: @lunny @appleboy @fuxiaohei and others. Related projects: - https://gitea.com/gitea/actions-proto-def - https://gitea.com/gitea/actions-proto-go - https://gitea.com/gitea/act - https://gitea.com/gitea/act_runner ### Summary The target of this PR is to bring a basic implementation of "Actions", an internal CI/CD system of Gitea. That means even though it has been merged, the state of the feature is **EXPERIMENTAL**, and please note that: - It is disabled by default; - It shouldn't be used in a production environment currently; - It shouldn't be used in a public Gitea instance currently; - Breaking changes may be made before it's stable. **Please comment on #13539 if you have any different product design ideas**, all decisions reached there will be adopted here. But in this PR, we don't talk about **naming, feature-creep or alternatives**. ### ⚠️ Breaking `gitea-actions` will become a reserved user name. If a user with the name already exists in the database, it is recommended to rename it. ### Some important reviews - What is `DEFAULT_ACTIONS_URL` in `app.ini` for? - https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/pull/21937#discussion_r1055954954 - Why the api for runners is not under the normal `/api/v1` prefix? - https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/pull/21937#discussion_r1061173592 - Why DBFS? - https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/pull/21937#discussion_r1061301178 - Why ignore events triggered by `gitea-actions` bot? - https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/pull/21937#discussion_r1063254103 - Why there's no permission control for actions? - https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/pull/21937#discussion_r1090229868 ### What it looks like <details> #### Manage runners <img width="1792" alt="image" src="https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/9418365/205870657-c72f590e-2e08-4cd4-be7f-2e0abb299bbf.png"> #### List runs <img width="1792" alt="image" src="https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/9418365/205872794-50fde990-2b45-48c1-a178-908e4ec5b627.png"> #### View logs <img width="1792" alt="image" src="https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/9418365/205872501-9b7b9000-9542-4991-8f55-18ccdada77c3.png"> </details> ### How to try it <details> #### 1. Start Gitea Clone this branch and [install from source](https://docs.gitea.io/en-us/install-from-source). Add additional configurations in `app.ini` to enable Actions: ```ini [actions] ENABLED = true ``` Start it. If all is well, you'll see the management page of runners: <img width="1792" alt="image" src="https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/9418365/205877365-8e30a780-9b10-4154-b3e8-ee6c3cb35a59.png"> #### 2. Start runner Clone the [act_runner](https://gitea.com/gitea/act_runner), and follow the [README](https://gitea.com/gitea/act_runner/src/branch/main/README.md) to start it. If all is well, you'll see a new runner has been added: <img width="1792" alt="image" src="https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/9418365/205878000-216f5937-e696-470d-b66c-8473987d91c3.png"> #### 3.
