wxiaoguang	3f9c3e7bc3	Refactor render system (#32492) ... There were too many patches to the Render system, it's really difficult to make further improvements. This PR clears the legacy problems and fix TODOs. 1. Rename `RenderContext.Type` to `RenderContext.MarkupType` to clarify its usage. 2. Use `ContentMode` to replace `meta["mode"]` and `IsWiki`, to clarify the rendering behaviors. 3. Use "wiki" mode instead of "mode=gfm + wiki=true" 4. Merge `renderByType` and `renderByFile` 5. Add more comments ---- The problem of "mode=document": in many cases it is not set, so many non-comment places use comment's hard line break incorrectly	3 months ago

Since `modules/context` has to depend on `models` and many other packages, it should be moved from `modules/context` to `services/context` according to design principles. wxiaoguang	6b33152b7d	Decouple the different contexts from each other (#24786) ... Replace #16455 Close #21803 Mixing different Gitea contexts together causes some problems: 1. Unable to respond proper content when error occurs, eg: Web should respond HTML while API should respond JSON 2. Unclear dependency, eg: it's unclear when Context is used in APIContext, which fields should be initialized, which methods are necessary. To make things clear, this PR introduces a Base context, it only provides basic Req/Resp/Data features. This PR mainly moves code. There are still many legacy problems and TODOs in code, leave unrelated changes to future PRs.	2 years ago

Close #10729 and a lot of related issues. The EasyMDE is not removed, now it works as a fallback, users can switch between these two editors. Brecht Van Lommel	84daddc2fa	Editor preview support for external renderers (#23333) ... Remove `[repository.editor] PREVIEWABLE_FILE_MODES` setting that seemed like it was intended to support this but did not work. Instead, whenever viewing a file shows a preview, also have a Preview tab in the file editor. Add new `/markup` web and API endpoints with `comment`, `gfm`, `markdown` and new `file` mode that uses a file path to determine the renderer. Remove `/markdown` web endpoint but keep the API for backwards and GitHub compatibility. ## ⚠️ BREAKING ⚠️ The `[repository.editor] PREVIEWABLE_FILE_MODES` setting was removed. This setting served no practical purpose and was not working correctly.
